covid-19 response

At Embrace Wellness Hub, we are committed to doing our best to keep both our clients and practitioners safe and well. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Embrace has implemented a number of control measures to help stop the spread of the virus. Please note, if you are unwell, please do not come into the practice. If you have an appointment, call our reception team on (07) 3906 8888 to make alternate arrangements for your appointment.

Vaccination status

The Queensland Government has a mandate in place requiring all allied health workers in private practice to be 'fully vaccinated' (have received 2 doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) to continue to see clients. Please be aware that not all other people who access our reception, waiting rooms or consultation rooms are fully vaccinated.

Unvaccinated clients

Embrace does not require clients accessing our services to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Please keep this in mind when coming into the clinic. If you are concerned, please speak with our reception team or alternatively, with your practitioner about alternative methods of service delivery. Depending on the service you are accessing, telehealth (video) or telephone appointments may be available.

Telehealth

In some circumstances, your practitioner may need to request your appointment be held via telehealth (video) or telephone. Similarly, you are also able to request a session that is not held in-person. Please contact our reception team on (07) 3906 8888 to discuss.

Cleaning, sanitising & social distancing

Embrace takes cleaning and sanitising seriously and as such, utilises approved cleaning products for effective infection control. Our waiting room and consultation rooms are cleaned daily. You will also find hand sanitiser available for use in these spaces. Regarding social distancing, both the reception area and the consultation rooms allow for social distancing during session.

Masks

Masks must be worn in accordance with any Queensland Government health directives.

Your choice

If you choose to attend your appointments in person, it is important to highlight the risk of potentially coming into contact with a person infected with COVID-19. Embrace will do its best to have infection control measures in place however if you choose to attend the clinic, you acknowledge that neither Embrace Wellness Hub nor your practitioner is liable should you become infected with COVID-19.
