1. Individual Therapy

Referrals

A referral is not required to access individual therapy with our psychologists or counsellor.

Mental Health Treatment Plans: A referral from a medical practitioner known as a Mental Health Care Plan can enable a client to receive a rebate from Medicare for sessions accessed with a psychologist. Initially, a client can be referred for a course of treatment of up to six individual and six group allied mental health services. It is at the clinical discretion of your referring practitioner as to the number of allied mental health services you will be referred for (to a maximum of six in any one referral), with up to 20 individual and 10 group sessions able to be accessed per calendar year on this plan. After this point, the client will become a ‘full-fee paying’ client.

WorkCover: Initial and ongoing consultations in accordance with WorkCover recommended fees

  • This fee is covered by WorkCover in the case of successful claims.

NDIS: Initial and ongoing consultations in accordance with NDIS recommended fees

Cancellation Fees

When appointments are booked, the Psychologist reserves the whole hour, especially for the client, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place.

We require 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring any extra fees. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment. A fee is charged for non-attendance or less than 24 hours notice.
